Audiometer Workaround

Question: Adding on this does anyone have an audiometer that is reasonable and where do i get it if you feel its worth it?

  1. I have an iPad App and it works perfectly well for basic screening. It’s called Audiogram Mobile by Vincenzo Cocciolo (he’s great at emailing you back if you have a question). It’s like $40 for the App, then you have to get compatible headphones. I use the Panasonic RP-HTX7 (from Amazon). A patient of mine is an audiologist and she says this is fine for a primary care setting. I was happily shocked she said that!
  2. Another option:  Word is there is a free option as well.  Check here.
